Jasmine Richards was born in a small seaside town southeast of Tokyo on Nov. 17, 2001 at 4:12am. She came into the world with only 3,896g (roughly 8-1/2lbs) of pinkish-grey babyness to call her own, though the nurses at the hospital affectionately nicknamed her "Jumbo" as she was the biggest newborn they could recollect.    Admitedly, she was pretty ugly those first few days, but it didnt take long for the cute little milk-monster to shine. Unfortunately, everyone says she looks just like her daddy - so shes got a tough road ahead of her. Daddy and Uncle Jeff wrought havoc on the small, overly-protective Japanese maternatity clinic - kidnapping the small infant for short periods of family time, much to the dismay of the pursing, politely furious, nurses. We must have seemed like true barbarians to assume that the fragile life could survive more than a few minutes outside the protective enclosure. After a whole week in the hospital, mom had enough of the clinic and was finally granted parole, though she never stopped talking about how "absolutely great" the food was. Jasmine came home on Nov. 24, 2001.
